Theft and Damage Insurance

The value of the insurance is calculated based on the value of the product and the duration of the protection, the price will be presented during the online store checkout or upon request at the time of purchase in one of our physical stores.

 

What risks are insured?

  1. Theft with violence of the insured object when used and/or carried by the person (assault), excluding robbery with skill and/or theft;
  2. Theft of the object inside hotel rooms, provided that the item is kept inside a safe and with the key located outside the room; 
  3. Burglary, provided that the existing means of closure are broken into, committed in your main and/or occasional residence. In the latter case, only during periods in which the owner is occupying the said location.
  4. Theft or kidnapping of the object by means of violence or threat of violence directed at the owner of the object;
  5. Fire, lightning or explosion in the main or occasional dwelling, in this case only when the owner is away present;
  6. Accidental Damage: Any deterioration or destruction of the Insured Property, resulting from an external, sudden and unforeseen cause.

 

What risks are not insured?

  1. Damage that occurred at the Jeweler's premises;
  2. Damage resulting from theft with skill; 
  3. Damages resulting from abandonment of the object, except in the cases provided for in the previous clauses in the replacement conditions;
  4. Total or partial loss or disappearance and breakage of the object, even if caused by fire, attempted robbery or assault;
  5. Damage caused by the intention or fault of the owners or by people to whom the owner must respond, such as family members and cohabitants;
  6. Certificates that have been tampered with or contain incomplete data essential to determining the value of the object;
  7. False replacement requests made by the owner or buyer.
