In the event of a consumer dispute, you may turn to an alternative consumer dispute resolution (ADR) entity, under Portuguese Law no. 144/2015 of 8 September. Alternative dispute resolution (mediation, conciliation or arbitration) is usually less costly, less formal and faster than going to court: an impartial third party acts between the consumer and the trader to help reach a solution.
