he company was created in Germany in 1906 with the objective of creating easy-to-use tin cans. In 1908, the brand launched the Simplo Filler Pen Co. and its first successful caneta was the iconic Rouge et Noir.
In 1910 the brand had a rebranding and turning that we see today. Montblanc was a tribute to the highest peak in Europe, Mont Blanc, which is represented in the white (snowy) star of the brand on this page.
A single Montblanc caneta passed through more than 100 stages, executed manually, to be produced. Furthermore, each caneta is tested by itself, which confers the high quality that a brand offers.
In 1997, Montblanc began designing watches and today they are two most important products in the brand's portfolio.
