- Theft or kidnapping of the object by means of violence or threat of violence directed at the owner of the object;
- Fire, lightning or explosion in the main or occasional dwelling, in this case only when the owner is away present;
- Accidental Damage: Any deterioration or destruction of the Insured Property, resulting from an external, sudden and unforeseen cause.
What risks are not insured?
- Damage that occurred at the Jeweler's premises;
- Damage resulting from theft with skill;
- Damages resulting from abandonment of the object, except in the cases provided for in the previous clauses in the replacement conditions;
- Total or partial loss or disappearance and breakage of the object, even if caused by fire, attempted robbery or assault;
- Damage caused by the intention or fault of the owners or by people to whom the owner must respond, such as family members and cohabitants;
- Certificates that have been tampered with or contain incomplete data essential to determining the value of the object;
- False replacement requests made by the owner or buyer.

Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Bram Stoker Limited Edition Fountn – Accessories
Throughout history, mankind has always shown a natural instinct to express its feelings, impressions and experiences in words. So did Bram Stoker, who was many things: civil servant, theatre manager, progressive thinker, but, above all, a pioneer of the horror genre, a writer who created in Dracula not only a character of literature but also a myth. In the Irish novelist’s work of 1897, the infamous, centuries-old figure of the vampire found its definitive literary form. In honour of the author of this classic tale of horror, Montblanc has created the Writers Edition Homage to Bram Stoker Limited Edition, highlighting how the struggle against the forces of evil was driven by advancements in medical science. Bram Stoker’s superb depiction of scenery and the appearance of Dracula takes the reader’s breath away even today. The Writers Edition captures this ill-omened atmosphere with its choice of colour for the cap and barrel, where the apparent intermingling of red and black precious resin signals impending danger. Immortalised amidst the swirling pattern on the cap is the signature of Count Dracula’s literary father. Inspired by the traces left behind by his vampire bite, the ruthenium-coated clip tapers elegantly and, at the same time, echoes the shape of an historic Montblanc fountain pen clip. Two markings on the clip ring suggest the vampire’s ‘bite marks’. The shape of this writing instrument is a nod to a milestone in medical technology, the Pravaz syringe, which was operated by a screw mechanism. Similarly, the decorative elements of the fittings resemble those of a classic Victorian writing instrument, much like the one which Bram Stoker would have used to pen his works. While the author did not live to experience the worldwide fame of his iconic character, he alone deserves the honour of the Writers Edition Homage to Bram Stoker. In acknowledgement of this achievement, an intricate embossed detail from his family coat of arms adorns the handcrafted, ruthenium-coated solid Au 750 gold nib.
